Kerri & Danyel are a fantastic team!
They’re precise, punctual, responsible, responsive, and exceedingly creative! Long version- We met with Kerri early on the planning process, her professionalism and passion was shown from the get go – we knew we wanted to entrust this celebration of a lifetime to her. Kerri knew that I wanted to be as involved as I could handle for the sake of our budget and for my interest in putting my stamp on our wedding. She provided many useful tools to guide our organizing, tailored to our needs. My husband and I really only planned out the basics for ourselves… we didn’t have many preferences. Kerri made suggestions based on our interests and her expertise on the things we never even thought about. Where the other vendors lacked, Kerri picked up the slack or communicated changes that needed to be made. Someone wasn’t emailing me back? I tell Kerri and in five minutes I’ve got the other vendor on the phone with me. A vendor is quoting me double the price as we had originally discussed? Problem solved by the end of the day. Kerri was there along with her lead coordinator Danyel and the made a dynamic team. They ran a tight ship and kept everything going according to plan (or so it seemed to me. If anything went wrong, I didn’t know about it). I don’t even know half or more of the things that went on behind the scenes, it was that seamless! There’s so much more I could say about how wonderful it was to partner with Blush Events but that would be too long to read. My advice is to spend your money where it matters: photography and planner. And as for which planner…go with Blush Events!!!

Short story: Hire Kerri immediately!
I interviewed a number of wedding planners before I met Kerri, and I felt like either they weren’t really listening to me, or they were going to take over my event. I had a lot of general ideas for my wedding, and I was only looking for someone to coordinate the day-of, not plan the whole thing, but I’m not super assertive, so I was nervous that I would end up with a planner who would either take over completely, or just show up the day of. Kerri was so patient and friendly, and she worked with me throughout the wedding planning process to make sure my visions were coming to life without stepping on my toes at all! She went way above and beyond to make my planning process easier, make sure I didn’t miss any tasks, and make the actual wedding stress-free. Kerri worked so hard that I felt like she really understood my ideas – she made a Pinterest board that we worked on together, and she was always super quick to respond to emails. She came to vendor meetings with me so she could make sure we were on the same page and on top of everything. She stepped in when she could tell I was overwhelmed, and she gave recommendations and opinions without being pushy at all, which was exactly what I needed. Kerri and Danyel both made sure the wedding day went off without a hitch (apparently there were a couple issues that I had no idea occurred because they were so good). With my mom and bridesmaids all living out of town, words can’t describe how grateful I am that I had Kerri by my side through this crazy planning process, and I gained a friend!!

We hired Kerri for month-of-coordination and she truly went above and beyond our expectations! Kerri was attentive to my needs and was always willing to help in any way. The week of our wedding our Venue gave us a VERY difficult time with management changes, and Kerri made sure I stayed stress free and offered support in any way. Kerri not only cares about the details of the day, but she cares about the heart of her brides. After our wedding we found out about a major issue our DJ had with his equipment (we can laugh about it now), but Kerri ensured I never found out about the problem on the day of and it was handled promptly!! Kerri made sure I always had my drink of choice in hand!! We had a guest list of 300+ and everything truly turned out beautifully. Our guests continue to share how much they enjoyed our wedding and my husband and I are thankful for Kerri! So if you’re looking to be stress-free and well taken care of, hire Kerri!!!

I simply can’t say enough about my positive experience working with Kerri and Blush Events. Our September 2016 wedding at Maymont in Richmond, Virginia was an absolute dream! Kerri and her team were so professional throughout the entire process. As my month of coordinator, Kerri helped me coordinate all communication with my vendors to include logistics and final payments, sent reminders for the pre-wedding checklist of To-Dos/Items to buy, and helped with the overall vision for the reception. She even sent us a care package of wedding goodies! At the rehearsal, she led my [disorganized but wonderful] crew of friends and family in the timeline of events and took diligent notes of who needed to be where and when. And on the day-of… she handled everything! From arranging the groomsman’s boutonnieres in the Stone Barn/dressing room and ensuring the guys were properly hydrated, sending her assistant on a last minute alcohol run, setting up the gift and guest book tables, arranging the tablescapes at the reception (exactly as I envisioned them, by the way), ensuring the ceremony and reception started on time and directing the wedding party on both entrances. She even made me a dinner plate so that I didn’t starve (she’s the best!). Most importantly, we were able to enjoy our day completely stress free knowing that we were in Kerri’s good hands! Her attention to detail is unsurpassed, and I would most definitely hire Blush Events if I was to do the whole thing again.
